Introducing the World of the Heirs of Tenebris Trilogy: Agergy
Lasting a total of eighty-nine days according to the Tenebrese calendar, Agergy is a time of growth. After the long Serenmae, Agergy sees the bloom of plant life that had either died due to frosts or had gone dormant to sustain itself in order to bloom again in the warm weather.
In the arable Godberd Woods, Agergy is a time for planting, but in other regions of Tenebris, commerce becomes a focal point now that the roads and trade routes have thawed. Merchants and traders make their maiden voyages to the far reaches of Tenebris, including to the Uun Bazaar in the Barrier Plains, and beyond Tenebris’s borders. The busiest of the seasons, Agergy is also the season when the land uses the most of its stored magic to help foster new growth and cycle through any magic it didn’t use throughout Serenmae. Once that cycle is complete, the land will begin collecting collecting and storing magic in its trees, its roots, and other plant life in order to prepare for the next Serenmae.
